Our Seeds

​Our goal has always been to have a line of feminized seeds that we could trust in the difficult climate of Maine and the Northeast. A culmination of 10 years trialing countless strains has finally gotten us to that goal.  There will be some variance in our seedlings (which are all F1 crosses)  we have had great success with them and are confident you will too. 

While clones do have an advantage when it comes to uniformity, seedlings have several advantages as well.  Seedlings tend to be more vigorous and require less thinning.  They also allow us to cut our energy usage significantly by not having to keep as many mothers throughout the season.  We also enjoy seeing the slight differences of our seedlings and see how they take on the characteristics of their parents. 

All seedlings are expected to finish between late September and the first week of October as their parents before them.  We highly encourage all our customers to include some of our seedlings in their spring orders.
